Words meet numbers. You meet your match.

A word duel and a numbers puzzle, in one match. Play three alternating pairs of rounds, make your best move and see how your opponent solved the same challenge.

Try a numbers round

Target425

Use each tile at most once. Can you reach 425?

Show one solution

50 × 8 = 400. Then 5 × 6 = 30. Finally 400 + 30 − 4 − 1 = 425. Unused tiles are allowed. A shorter solution can win a tied numbers round.

A practice example. No timer, no account, no score saved.

How to play

Six rounds. Two ways to think.

Word → Numbers → Word → Numbers → Word → Numbers

Make more of eight letters.

Build a word from eight letters and an optional joker. You have 25 seconds after the reveal. Each letter tile can be used once; the joker supplies one missing letter. Words must be accepted by the selected language’s dictionary. Start with a word you know, then look for a longer one.

7 letters → 7 points. All 9 letters → 18 points.

A target. Six numbers. Your route.

Use five small numbers and one large number to approach the target in 40 seconds. Add, subtract, multiply or divide. Each tile can be used at most once; intermediate results can be used in later steps. Division must produce a whole number and intermediate results cannot be negative. You do not have to use every tile.

Exact target → 10 points. One away → 9. Ten or more away → 0.

The best answer wins the round.

In a word round, the longest valid word wins; equal lengths are decided by fewer jokers. In a numbers round, the nearest result wins; equal distances are decided by fewer steps. If both are still equal, both players score. Submitting earlier does not break a tie. Add the six round scores to decide the match; equal totals are a draw.

Before your first match

Do I need an account?

You can explore as a guest. Features that connect you with other players may ask you to sign in. Use the account settings in the lobby to link an email address. If a code does not arrive, check the spelling of the address and your spam folder.

What if my connection drops?

The match clock keeps running. Reconnecting restores the current match state and keeps answers already submitted. An unanswered round scores zero. Two consecutive missed rounds can end the match as a forfeit; choosing to leave also forfeits the match.

Which languages can I play in?

Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish and Russian. The website language and the game’s language controls are available separately. Word acceptance depends on the selected game dictionary; a familiar word in another language may not count.
